Banana and Honey Cake

  • 2 x Bananas                      
  • 70g Brown sugar              
  • 4 tsp Baking powder           
  • 2 x Eggs       
  • 4 tbs Honey                        
  • 2 tbs Rapeseed oil               
  • 160g Wholemeal flour        
  • 200g Plain flour                  

Food processor with main knife blade

Kenwood Chef Titanium or Major Titanium with Food Processor attachment

22cm x 13cm loaf tin

  • Grease the loaf tin.
  • Attach the knife blade to the food processor.
  • Add all the ingredients except the flour and baking powder to the bowl.
  • Pulse until combined.
  • Add the flour and baking powder to the bowl and pulse until combined.
  • Place the mixture into the greased loaf tin.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in an oven preheated to 160°C / Fan 140°C / Gas 3.
  • Take the cake out of the oven and leave to stand for 10 minutes in the tin. Then turn out onto a cooling rack.
